圣诞节のX'mas Day

金个彪~金个彪~~~今天是圣诞节, 虽然我是没庆祝的, 但还是蛮喜欢这个节日. 家中剩下我及老母, 又懒得出外, 所以就随便煮了道西餐, 播放一些圣诞名曲, 应应节.
2day is X'mas Day, although I din't celebrate this romantic day, but I quite like it. The house left only me n my mum, due to I really so lazy to go out, so, I simply cook some western dishes (thanx that my mum is not so picky abt my cookin) n play some famous X'mas songs.

水煮沙拉, 包菜花+西芹+青椒+番茄+薯仔+生菜, 配与特制山药沙拉酱, 简单又容易, 还蛮清新的.
Simple Salad, cauliflower + celery + green pepper + tomato + potato + butterhead lettuce, with some homemade purple yam salad dressin, very easy to prepare n it's quite refreshin.

薯仔烤鸡腿肉+鲜虾+花枝, 一定要加上绝不能少的软乳酪和意大利香料.
Chicken + prawn + squid baked with potato, mix with mozzarella & cheddar cheese n some Italian mixed herbs.

主食, 煎烤鱼排. 不知道是什么鱼, 见冰箱有什么就用. 煎前要以各酱料腌一腌, 可惜家里只有白胡椒没有黑的, 不然会更香.
Main dish, Grilled Fish. I don't what fish is this, just grab whatever have in the fridge.

配上一些吐司面包.
Served with some toasted bread, yum yum.

吃饱后再喝一些奶酒, 享受啊~
After the meal, have some Marula Fruit Cream, 'jiang~~'

My Conversion Course

I was quite disappointed, when I haven’t received any call or any offering letter at the early of September. Normally the "Tambah Opsyen" course will start by the time UPSR started, but who know this year will postpone? By the time I received a call 10 days before the course started, at noon, I was surprise and happy.


So I prepared myself to attend the course on time on 28/9/09, but my headmistress called me back to the school at the last minute to do something urgent. After that I only started to go to ELTC around 10am. While heading to ELTC, I was thinking that by the time I reached there, properly every one already went back home and the hall was empty. Thank God that the traffic was not bad and I arrived at 11am.


There is a rule that outsider or those who attend courses in IPBA are not allowed to park their cars in the IPBA. They have to park their cars outside the IPBA or at the hostel compound. So by the time I reached, at 11pm, the road along the IPBA already full of cars. I only managed to find a slot at the far end of the road and there is about 400m from the IPBA main entrance.


So I rushed to the ELTC yellow block and almost tripped myself while climbing the stair. I pushed open the door without knocked on it (I forgot!) and I saw a girl was standing at the front and 23 pairs of eyes were staring at me. I thought she was introducing herself as she is the participant also, so I still got on time because it’s only at the introducing section. But when she turned at me and welcomed me with her bright smile, I realised that she is Ms Elaine Pang, our coordinator! I was so embarrassed and I just walked to the back seat with my head down.


Ms Elaine explained the basic of the course and after that she gave us a proficiency test, a test that contains all sorts of grammar questions and also comprehension. Although I felt there was still a mess in my mind, but hopefully I can do well in that test. After the test, Ms Elaine told us about some of her experiences on work and also on life. She also gave us some useful tips so that we can “survive” at the end of the course.


The participants there were very friendly and we quickly make friends. Time passed very fast and it was already lunch time. It was a sumptuous lunch and quite delicious. After the lunch, we had a rest for 1 hour until 2pm. Then we were sent to the resource centre to get to know about it.


Mr Roland, a good-looking librarian who gave us a short briefing about the resource centre, as the resource centre is one of the most promising library in Malaysia. He was quite nervous while giving the briefing. I can see he face turned from dry to wet due to the sweat and he also admitted that he was trembling. We can search the books we need just by using the searching software as long as the resource centre has the books.


After the briefing, Mr Roland showed us how to use the software to search for the books we need. Then we browsed through the resource centre. The resource centre is quite well organised and it was quite easy to find the books. After we spent some time in the resource centre, it was time for us to leave the ELTC and end of the day one in ELTC.

四叶草, 只要找到四瓣的, 幸运和幸福跟着你来. 但要在众三叶草中找到四叶的, 可说机会渺茫. 人群中, 要找到属于你的另一半, 又何尝容易?
在经历失去的伤痛后, 我只知道自己无法再承受再次失去的悲痛. 所以渐渐的把自己密封起来, 包得紧紧的. 没有了付出, 也不会有失去. 可是, 事情转变, 往往很偶然.
你不知道, 你在我无助彷徨, 自闭孤僻时, 敢敢的一刀砍下, 把我从深渊拉回. 你不知道, 你的一切, 给予我力量, 让我继续往前走. 你不知道, 你的出现, 让我知道我终于找到多年来所寻找的.
你可知道, 你让我的心跳加速, 手心冒汗. 你可看到, 你让我时常傻笑, 脸红. 你可知晓, 你让我感觉到充实和圆满. 让我觉得自己又再是个完整的个体. 困难的事, 不愉快的事, 悲伤的事, 也变得简单看透.
我要把任何事情, 无论开心或悲哀, 都与你分享. 也很感动, 你愿意与我一同面对. 谢谢你......Old Town.

梦2のDream2

自从爸爸过世后, 只梦过他一次. 他身穿衬衫短裤, 在咖啡店只望着我笑. 前几天, 就酱梦到第二次. 梦里我什么也没说, 见到爸爸就紧紧的抱着他, 大声的痛哭, 想要把一切一切的都哭完出来. 我这才发现, 我是多么的想念爸爸.
Ever since my dad died, I only dreamed about him once. It was in a coffee shop, he was wearin shirt n shorts, din't talk to me, just kept smilin at me. Few days ago, the 2nd dream came. When saw my dad in the dream, I hugged him tightly and cried out loud, with agony and sadness, just wana cried everythings out. At that moment, I realised that how much I miss him.

寿司三味のShushi Zanmai

适逢uncle从Sarawak来到KL上课, 所以就约了ah Sham一同聚餐. ah Sham订了位于The Garden的三味日式料理, 幸好有预订, 店外可是大排长龙的.
Our Dearest Uncle Sia comin to town, so 2gether with ah Sham we 3 guys went for Shushi Zanmai which is located in The Garden. Lucky that ah Sham had book for the seat, outside the restaurant already has ard 10 ppl lining up at 7pm.

花枝天妇罗, 不是说特别, 量也少. (RM9.80)
Hanasaki Ika Tempura a.k.a fired squid, not really special n it just gives litter bit only. (RM9.80)

当然少不了刺身, 天城, 六种刺身, 包括吞拿, 三文鱼, 虾, 扇贝, 花枝及黄尾. (RM38.00)
Not 4get the shashimi, Amagi, with 6 shashimi which r tuna belly, salmon, shrimp, scallop, cuttlefish and yellow-tail. (RM38.00)

鳗丼, 香脆的鳗鱼配于白饭, 满足感十足. (S:RM15.80/L:RM26.80)
Unadon, heavenly roasted eel with rice. (S:RM15.80/L:RM26.80)

漂亮的摆设, 在The Garden内算是便宜的价格, 难怪多人愿意排队. 但Uncle说排队的人应该是有病了^^
Nice design n is a quite cheap restaurant which hardly found in The Garden. Nowonder many ppl willin to wait for the seats. But uncle says those that line up mayb sick jor ^^

关丹美食家的点心★Dim Sum at Kuantan Mexica Garden

在关丹, 应该没有几间象样的点心店吧. 美食家的点心, 还不赖. 它不是一般的港式, 你必须order及等待, 而且也等蛮久的.
If u wana find a proper dim sum restaurant in Kuantan, hmm... not many choices. Mexica Garden, sellin dim sum at mornin, not the usual Hong Kong style, u need to order n WAIT.

越南米网卷, 香且脆, 有越南味吗? 有待研究.
Vietnam Roll, crispy for sure, vietnamese? Not sure ^^

黄金酥燕盏, 外层貌似燕窝, 炸至脆金黄, 包着清甜的南瓜馅, 如果不是外皮太硬, 是很好吃的.
Pumpkin Bird Nest, look like bird nest, with ncie pumpkin as the fillin, too bad the outer layer is too hard, if not will be very nice.

百花鼠尾饺, 小巧可爱, 弹口美味.
Mouse Dumplin, small n adorable, good taste also.

水晶凤眼饺, 卖像漂亮, 肉质嫩滑.
Crystal Dumplin, look pretty n taste better.

招牌烧卖王!! 还好...... 王冠也太小了吧.
Siu Mai King!! Still ok... but isn't the crown a bit too small?

炒罗卜糕, 还蛮入味的.
Carrot Cake, good.
如没记错, 这应该是燕皮水饺, 只给两颗.
I think this is Shui Gao, only gave us 2.

广洲流砂包, 没有想象的流出来, 但也蛮不错的.
York Bao, the york din't "flow" out as I expected, but stil okay.

日满茶餐室☆Hou Moon Restaurant

日满茶餐室, 位于巴生旧戏院附近. 生意非常的好, 人山人海.
Hou Moon Restaurant, located at Klang, near by the old cinema. The ppl r keep comin, but they serve very fast.

老板自制的盐焗鸡, 感觉上嫩滑度不比宴琼林, 但别有一番风味.
Homemade Salted Chicken, not as good taste as Aun Kheng Lim, but not bad.

园菜上汤, 招牌之一. 园菜的精华, 尽在清甜的汤内.
Yun Choi Soup, one of the "Jiu Pai". Tasty vege with refreshin soup.

水嫩嫩的蒸豆腐, 赞!
Soft n smooth Steamed Bean Curd, great!

蒸鱼块, 方便又好吃.
Steamed Fish Cubes, easy n yummy~

招牌菜, 烧鸭叉烧, 不容错过.
Rosted Duck n Cha Xiu, is a MUST!

瑞祥封肉肉骨茶★Swee Xiang Restaurant

这是封肉, 为什么叫封肉? 我也不知道, 哈哈. 会不会是肉是经过一番腌制呢? 有人告知吗? 封肉肉质嫩滑, 酱汁入味, 没有一桌是没叫它的.
This is "Hong Ba" or Sealed Pork @@. Y called so? I also don't knw, haha. Maybe it's been "yip" for some times? Who can tell me? The pork is quite smooth n soft, the sauce is very flavourful. U can find it on every table there.

肉骨茶, 一般的巴生口味.
Bak Kut Teh, just normal Klang's taste.

这间店没卖油条, 但你可在店旁路边的小档买到现做现卖的新鲜油条.
This restaurant din't sell any "Yao Zha Kuai", but U can buy it fresh n nice just from a stall near by the restaurant.

猪肚汤, 比较温和, 适合不太爱重椒味的人.
Pork Intestine Soup, quite mild, suitable for those who dislike pepper.

清炒油麦, 简单但清甜爽口.
Fried vege, simple n refreshin.

来一壶菊堡, 啊~~

小菜两样☆Homemade Dishes

昨天心血来潮, 与屋友下厨做了两道菜肴招待了一班同事亲人.
Yesterday night, my housemates n I cooked two dishes to enjoy with some of our colleagues n friends.

主食, 意大利全麦面, 80%新鲜番茄+9%美级番茄酱+5%香料香菇香肠鲜虾再加6%人情味, 总算还能入口, 也符合健康原则.
Main dish, Wholemeal Spaghetti, with 80% fresh tomatoes + 9% Maggie tomato sauce + 5% herbs, mushrooms, hot dogs, prawns and lastly n is most important 6% of our love, overall this spaghetti still can say OKAY n healthy ^^

沙拉, 马铃薯泥+鲜虾奥美佳蛋, 与葱头还有加了有机亚麻子粒的美奶滋微炒, 风味独特, 滋味无穷.
Special Salad, mash potato + fresh prawns n omega eggs, slightly fried with some onions n mayo with organic flax seeds, great taste! Thumbs up!

锦轩(锦选)香港点心☆Kam Hin Restaurant

Dim Sum, some say it shows in many types, many designs n a lot of taste, but some say it just the same, meat, meat n meat. To find a good (n cheap ^^) Dim Sum restaurant, it's not easy in Kuantan, but in KL, got a few.

Kam Hin Restaurant, located at Kuchai Lama, 2nd branch at PJ n the 3rd one comin soon at Damansara Utama.

Fried Ha Guin with Salty Egg, the prawn is quite big n the crispy skin just look like bird nest. (RM10.00 @@)

Ha Gau Wong, with a big scallop on top of it, make it so delicious.

Ha Gau, prawn again^^, fresh n nice.

Prawn Dumplin, a bit tasted like Ha Gau, but softer n creamer.

Siu Mai, mixture of pork n prawn, really delicious!

Another form of Siu Mai, but in dumplin form.

Siu Mai again but with vege skin, feel healthy rit?

Seaweed Gau, salty taste of seaweed + a hint of parsley, I like this very much.

"Ham"+Prawn+Cheeze, look at the combination, lips-smackin!

Braised Chicken Feet, not too sweet like the one in Klang, good taste.

Fried Fish Balls, fresh n the sauce is quite nice.

Pai Guat, not much to say about this, just GOOD.

A long shape fish ball with "Fu Pei", ah moi quite like it.

Shan Chao Lo Mai Fan, a not too oily version of Lo Mai Kai, n it's a famous dish at here. Full of various of ingredients n fried till so fragrant.

Although the pastry is not very good, but the fillin is great.

The normal dim sum price is from RM3.50~RM5, n one thing have to mention, the milo, kopi n teh here r quite "Kao" n good ^^
